Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» Faculty Jazz Ensemble
The Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» Faculty Jazz Ensemble has been performing both original compositions and standards in a wide variety of musical styles for almost thirty years. Comprised of faculty members of the Music Industry Career program at Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³», the group has performed at a variety of local and regional venues including the Bosque River Stage, local clubs, once a semester concerts on the Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» campus, and even the Texas State Capital building!
Current members include (from left to right above) Jon Fox on bass, Shane Hall on keyboards, Maddison Livingston on vocals, Jonathan Kutz on drums, Clark Nauert on guitar.
(Note: Rob Page, Beth Ullman, Bill Howard and Dick Gimble are now making sweet music in retirement.)

Emily Gimble
Texas State artist, voted pianist of the year for several straight years in Austin, played with Hayes Carll, Asleep at the Wheel, Warren Hood, and Marshall Ford Swing Band. She is the daughter of former legendary MIC instructor Dick Gimble.
