RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT (GRANTS)
The Resource Development department helps Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» excel by assisting faculty, staff, and administration secure external funds for programs that align with Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»'s college’s mission, strategic plan, and/or annual priorities. Resource Development assists with grant research, identifying funding resources, and developing grant proposals to enhance the College’s strategic goals.
Pre-Award
The Resource Development department is primarily focused on pre-award activities includes:
- Researching funding needs and opportunities
- Designing fundable projects
- Assisting faculty, staff, and administration to cure external funds
- Facilitating an understanding of the grant application process
- Researching requirements for project performance
- Preparing and submitting applications
- Facilitating the Grants Roundtable meetings for grant and contract administrators
- Ensuring adherence to all college related policies and procedures
- Overseeing the transition to post-award activities
- Works together with Project Directors and their respective Deans or VPs throughout the life of the grant project to ensure proper management and compliance
Post-Award
Resource Development works closely with the Office of Financial Services – Director, Associate Director, Senior Grants Accountant and Associate Director, Student Accounts Receivable on post-award activities including:
- Accounting for financial transactions
- Financial reporting
- Providing expenditure compliance guidance
- Training for managing grants
