New Student Email


Your official Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ email account is provided through Google. All students, staff, and faculty will use their official college email addresses when conducting college business as per Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­'s Official Email Communication Policy.

Your student email account is provided for academic use and is managed by the college. We strongly recommend that you do not use this email address with personal services (such as Google Photos, YouTube, banking, social media, or subscriptions). Once you have not taken a class in over 365 days, you will lose access to your student email account, and any personal accounts linked to it may become difficult or impossible to recover.

Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ student email accounts remain active for 365 days after your last Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ class. After 365 days, your Google account and all associated data, including Google Drive, will be permanently deleted and is not recoverable. Once you complete your courses at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­, we strongly encourage you to back up any important emails, documents, or files by transferring them to personal storage solutions. Your email account is created after you apply to Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ and is accessible within 24 hours or by the next business day.

To access your email, click Student Email on the blue shortcut bar below the main image on the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ home page, or click the shortcut below.

 

Your login information will be your email address: the first initials of your first name and last name, your 7-digit Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ ID number followed by @students.mclennan.edu. You will use the password you created for MyÂ鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­, or click this link to reset your password so you may access Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ Student Email.

  • (USER ID) or username:
  • The first initial of your first name, the first initial of your last name, and your seven-digit Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ ID number (lower case)
  • Example: Jane Doe (Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ ID 0128043 ) would be j d 0128043
